A paint color chart to choose your colors

Choosing a new paint color can easily turn into a real headache for your interior.
Torn between what we see in magazines, on social media, on the walls of our loved ones, or even on a RAL color chart, the hesitations concerning the atmosphere we want to create and the paint color we want to adopt can prove difficult to resolve.

That's why Algo has undertaken to build a complete paint color chart, bringing together around ten colors and their different variations, ranging from green to pink, including gray and blue. Thanks to this tool, you will not only be able to identify the advantages of each color, but also discover how to combine them and in which room to place them.

Choosing the Perfect Paint Color

Before you start exploring this wall paint color chart and its different shades, keep in mind that there are a few golden rules when it comes to choosing colors.
First of all, we advise you to proceed by elimination. This rule is simple, but it has the advantage of allowing you to automatically rule out colors that you don't like or which, for various reasons, would not match your interior.
You will avoid getting lost and will thus focus on a narrower range of colors.

Next, it is important to ensure that you do not use more than three colors per room in order to maintain a certain harmony and allow each shade to reveal its full potential. Indeed, in order to harmonize the different possible colors of an association, it is often recommended to limit the use of the strongest color in small quantities so as not to mask the use of other desired paint colors.

The basics and the essentials

For all of our colors, we trusted our interior designer; Sophie, who proposed a panel of more than 150 custom-created shades in order to best match the Algo universe to all of our interior paint colors.
Our color chart, unique in its design, therefore has no correspondence with the classic RAL color chart.

Among the different categories of our color chart you will find in particular the different “neutral” colors, namely white , beige and gray (or more commonly called RAL 9001 for white). These latter, although quite simple and sober in appearance, should not be neglected since they are particularly useful for creating a backdrop in your interior and counterbalancing more vivid colors. They also offer the advantage of enlarging and illuminating the walls of your rooms.

In addition, it is important to pay attention to the different shades of white and beige, and in particular to their undertones, in order to create the most harmonious combinations possible.

A selection of trendy shades

Our color chart also focuses on the most trendy colors of the moment. So if you're dreaming of a living room with khaki green walls , a terracotta bedroom, or a cobalt blue kitchen, you're sure to find what you're looking for in this color chart.

If, on the other hand, you don't really know which shade to go for but you want a modern, contemporary interior, don't hesitate to refer to the descriptions of these different interior paint shades, which will help you know how to tame and combine them.

Blue or green, discover a wide range of shades

Finally, our color chart includes all the other possible colors, which are nonetheless relevant and useful for transforming your interior. If you are looking to create a chic and elegant atmosphere, you can turn to shades of brown or pink , such as powder pink or old pink.

If, on the other hand, you're looking for something more tangy and original, don't hesitate to discover our orange color chart which brings together the most beautiful shades of this sunny hue.
